Catie Wiersma originally grew up in St. Clair Shores, MI. Right before she started high school, her family moved to Macomb Township. While in high school, Catie learned German and took mechanical drafting classes, which is where she found her love for architecture at 15 years old.
After graduating from high school, she studied at Macomb Community College for 4 years and then transferred to Lawrence Tech University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2018 and a Master’s in Architecture at the end of 2019. Catie has been working in architecture for almost 6 years in the Metro Detroit area.
Some of Catie’s biggest goals in life were receiving her degrees in architecture. Although Catie is relatively new at Designhaus, she feels that she picked a great company and looks forward to all that she will learn while working here!
